See Past For What It Is

Even though I would change so many things from my past, I recognize that I am who I and I know what I know because of it! I would not have the answers for the world that I have, nor the compassion, nor the knowledge, nor the empathy, etc. I would not have the appreciation for the people I love had I not dealt with people who did me wrong. I wouldn’t press so hard in school, had I not sat it down years ago. If for no other reason than to be an example of tenacity, determination, genuine love, and accomplishment for my children, it is to make my latter days better than my former. So I recognize, though I may not have liked it, my past is making contributions to the future of many!
